EducationI graduated from Northeastern University in 2010 with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience. I hold an M.S. in Medical Sciences from Boston University, and I am currently pursuing my M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UMass-Amherst. During the day, I run a tissue engineering/surgical research laboratory at Boston Children's Hospital. I will be attending medical school this fall (2016) in pursuit of an MD/PhD.
ExperienceI have tutored many students in the biological and chemical sciences from the high school level to the graduate level, including numerous dental, graduate and medical students at Boston University. Many have gone from a D to an A after studying with me. My tutees can attest to the fact that I was always available for help. Also, I have tutored for the biological and physical science sections of the MCAT, for which I received a 12 and 13, respectively.
HobbiesI enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Atticus and Vinny; cooking; snowboarding; swimming; weight lifting. When I have downtime, I enjoy reading about astronomy, astrophysics, and the philosophy of science.
